What is CANARIAS GOSPEL SUMMIT?
It is the first gospel summit in the Canary Islands. during which numerous activities are carried out such as gospel workshops for adults, workshops for children, workshops in schools, concerts in special places such as senior citizens’ centers, music therapy workshops for children and free concerts.
In the year 2019 began the journey of this summit that already has its third edition and in which for the adult workshops we have had great artists of the international gospel world such as: Isaac Cates (USA), Daniel Thomas (UK) and Damien Sneed (USA).
CANARIAS GOSPEL SUMMIT 2023
13th, 14th and 15th October, in Candelaria, Tenerife.
In this new edition, the adult workshops will be given by Markita Knight from Los Angeles and Damien Sneed from New York among others.
We will soon be able to announce the rest of the invited artists.
MARKITA KNIGHT
Born in Los Angeles, California, Markita Knight has been singing at church since she was a child, sharing the great gift of her voice.
With a variety of styles Knight loves to express herself by creating and painting colors with her voice filling large music venues such as The Hollywood Bowl.
Throughout her career as a featured vocalist and backing vocalist, she has toured and shared the stage with world renowned artists including the late Andraé Crouch, CeCe Winans, Wynton Marsalis, Valerie Simpson, Kurt Carr, Judith McAllister and Damien Sneed, just to name a few. She has her own music production on all major music platforms and has recorded with and for renowned artists from gospel music.
